Adding tests

There are 2 methods available to add your tests: Inidividual and In Bulk

Add Test - Individual

For this method navigate to My Lab tab and click on the Plus Sign icon on the left side.

Settings

This action will bring up the MyLab Test form. You would need to complete all of required fields and click Save. After saving the test data, you will be able to view it in on My Lab tab. You should also be able to locate it in the Catalog.

Add Tests - In Bulk

For this method navigate to My Lab tab and click Download Import Template.

Choose a file for import and download it. The available file formats are JSON and CSV. Sample data for two dummy tests is already included in both templates. Enter data for your tests and save it in a file.

Note: Indeces data are required for the following fields: gene_area, test_type, methodology, diseases, medspecialty
To obtain the indexes:

  • Click on the Plus Sign icon on the left side. That action will bring up MyLab Test form.
  • Populate Gene Area, Test Type, Methodology, Diseases, Medspecialty values on the screen.
  • Click "Copy" icon next to each field and paste the values over to your file.Settings Note: Multiple index values are separated by a space.

Please consult the Test Fields page for additional details regarding test data and specific examples.

After entering the data and saving the file, you are now ready to import the data. Perform these steps:

  • Click Clear button prior to Import to clear any filters and results table.
  • Select the Import Data button and pick the recently saved file.
    You should see Update Preview message above the results table. Review the data shown in the table. Should corrections be required, please update the file and re-import it.
  • Once the data appears satisfactory, press the Commit Data button. By taking this action, your imported test data will be saved. After saving the test data, you will be able to view it in on My Lab tab. You should also be able to locate it in the Catalog.
